tüntolk (all small letters, always) are two people from Nurzhan: Askar Daniyarov and Mira Temirova. Since 1999 they make Mor-Wave: dark electronic music from the boiler rooms of the factories, Soviet synthesizers, Iradi words, the old gods. My parents went to the boiler room nights. I was born three years after Jolchu, and I found it on my father's tape in 2019 and nothing was the same.
