1. A cat is in the census if it is seen in the courtyard on three different days.
2. Every cat gets a number. Numbers are never given again (No. 0 was Murzik, 2009–2025, the king before General. He is the reason I started this).
3. Friendliness is measured with the Hand Test: you hold out a hand. 0 = gone. 5 = head in your hand immediately.
4. Crimes must be seen by two people, or by me.
5. Feeding: we feed together. The list of who feeds who is on the door of the 1st entrance. Don't give them salty kolbasa, Uncle Vitya.
